HOW TO START
Discuss your budget, timeline, extent of project (does it include kitchen, hallway, bathroom, other) with your decision makers, start gathering your ideas on style, materials, and finishes, and remember to plan and budget for plumbing, lighting, flooring, counter tops, installation.
It is important to ask your potential team members for referrals, reviews, licensing/insurance, and experience with your type and size project. It is a good idea to interview more than one of each team member to ensure a good fit.
If you are acting as general contractor, line up a Plumber, Electrician, Dry-waller, Flooring Installer, Countertop Installer, Cabinet Installer (one installer might do the trick, but be sure that installer has experience with all items)
